Create equipment

Allocate equipment to specific rooms and services

To ensure that equipment (and their associated services) cannot be double booked, it is important to set these up correctly.

  1. Go to Admin>Equipment and click the blue plus button.

  2. Enter the name (and description if desired) of the equipment.

  3. Select the rooms in which the equipment can be used.

  4. If used in more than one room, use the dots next to each room to drag the rooms into the order of priority.

    1. Collums will look for availability in the first room. If it's not available, it will look for the second room and so on.

  5. Click "Save".

IMPORTANT

  • Ensure that when you connect your equipment with rooms, the SAME rooms are connect to the service.

    E.g. Microneedling can be performed in room 1 & 2 with Dermapen equipment. Ensure that you also connect the dermapen equipment to room 1 & 2.

    Failing to do this can result in "Room not available" errors.

  • Collums does not support connecting more than equipment with a service e.g. HydraFacial needing HydraFacial and LED mask equipment.

  • If you have more than one of the same equipment e.g. 2 x dermapens, create 2 equipment: "dermapen 1" and "dermapen 2".

    Connect your service to both of these equipments. Collums will now look to see if the first dermapen is free and if not, will then check for the second before booking.
