Create an email marketing campaign
Click on Marketing in the right hand menu.
Click the "Campaigns" from the menu at the top.
Click the blue "New email" button, above the search bar.
Complete the required fields.
Campaign Info : Name and description
Recipients : Select your created marketing segment from the drop down
Content :

Use Merge tags on the right hand side, which are linked to your database
Change to HTML editing mode if you prefer
Preview your email, and If you wish to use it again, click the blue "save template" button. Alternatively, learn how to Create an Email Marketing Template
Send :
Schedule campaign - click this to send the campaign some time in the future.
Recurring campaign - click this to set rules to send the campaign over and over. Select dates, days of the week, and times to send the campaign. This is useful when sending messages every day e.g. birthday messages or emails to those that have not returned after a certain time.
Send campaign - click this to send the campaign now.
The campaign will only be sent to those who have opted into receiving marketing messages. In the very last pop-up, select Ignore client marketing preferences to send the message to all. Be very careful about using this option due to GDPR rules.
Create an SMS marketing campaign
Repeat the steps above but in step 3, click the blue "New SMS" button
The only difference is that in step 4c, you will create SMS content rather than email.
Be careful if using non standard characters as they may count as more than one character in your 160 character limit for each SMS credit.
TIP : π‘
When creating a recurring campaign, such as the birthday campaign, tick the check box titled "No end date". There will always be client birthdays coming up, so you want this campaign roll on continuously.
