Create a Marketing Segment

Creating segments will assist you in identifying specific clients to market to, according to your preset tag rules.

  1. Click on Marketing in the right hand menu.

  2. Click the "SEGMENTS" from the menu at the top.

  3. Click the blue "New segment" button above the search bar.

  4. Create a name and description for your market segment

  5. Create segment info, and select from the drop down if clients must match "all" or "any" of the rules to follow.

  6. Create your segment rule by exploring the drop down options available

  7. Click the blue plus button to add more rules, should you wish to further filter specific clients. The blue "Client Count" box will indicate how many clients in the database, match these rules you have set.

  8. Click "Save".

NB If you delete a segment that is being used by a campaign, that campaign will be paused.

One useful segment rule would be sending a message one day/week before a client birthday. Example :

Drop down 1 = Client

Drop down 2 = Birthday

Drop down 3 = 1

Drop down 4 = Day (or Week, Month etc.)

Drop down 5 = Future

Another useful segment rule is for clients slipping away. For example, if you were to send a notification to clients who have not had an appointment for 4 months, with no future bookings in the diary :

Drop down 1 = Appointment

Drop down 2 = Any

Drop down 3 = Last Appointment

Drop down 4 = More than

Drop down 5 = 4

Drop down 6 = Months (Notice this can be days/weeks/years)

Drop down 7 = Does Not
