Set up notifications

Set up email and / or SMS notifications for your clients.

  1. Click on Admin in the right hand menu.

  2. Click on "Notifications" in the Organisation box.

  3. Select a notification from the list of options provided.

  4. If Setting up Email notification, select email option :

    1. Hover your mouse pointer over toolbar options for a description

    2. Use Merge tags on the right hand side, which are linked to your database

    3. Change to HTML editing mode if you prefer

    4. Preview your email, and If you wish to use it again, click the blue "save template" button. This will appear next time in the "template" drop down.

  5. If Setting up SMS notification, select SMS option :

    1. Use emojis and hyperlinks in your text message from the toolbar.

    2. Use Merge tags on the right hand side, which are linked to your database

    3. Send test SMS if you wish to use it again, click the blue "Save Template" button. This will appear next time in the "template" drop down.

  6. Save.

  7. Ensure that your desired notifications are active for both email and SMS - the switch in the "Active" column should be green. Click to activate/deactivate.

Saving your created notification messages as templates will become very convenient, as you can make small tweaks to existing content.
