Once you have built your invoice, it's time to take payment.

Paying an entire invoice with a single payment type

  1. Click the relevant blue payment type button on the right of the POS screen and the entire invoice amount (or remaining amount) will appear to the right of the blue button.

  2. If you want to pay part of the invoice amount, click the calculator symbol next to the payment button and enter the payment amount you would like to take.

    Click "Take payment".

  3. Once payment has been confirmed, the paid invoice screen will appear.

Taking payment via the integrated card terminal

  1. When ready to take payment, select the "Coherent payment" button

  2. Click "Take payment"

  3. If there is a card terminal connected, it will be selected by default and you can click "Pay Now"

  4. Wake the terminal and it will show the amount requested and a QR code. Tap the screen to enter the mode ready to receive a card or phone payment.

  5. You will hear a beep when a card tap has been successful. Tap the screen again to be ready for the next payment.

If you've just received your terminal, read how to set it up here.

Paying an invoice with more than one card or payment type

  1. Click the calculator icon next to the relevant blue payment type button.

  2. Enter the amount of money that is being paid with that payment type with the onscreen number pad. If you need to, use the red cross to clear the amount and start again.

  3. Click "Take payment".

  4. As the invoice is not fully paid, you will not see a paid invoice summary screen. The invoice status is "Part paid".

  5. Clicking another blue payment type button will automatically allocate the remaining payment amount to that payment type. If you do not want to allocate the remaining amount, use the calculator icon again.

  6. Repeat the above steps until all of the invoice has been paid and you see the paid invoice screen.
