Book a course / package service

When a client has purchased a course or package, they must be booked from the course to be redeemed.

Courses are a multiple of the same service. Packages are the same but allow collections of different services. When "course" is mentioned, the same is applicable for a package.

A client must purchase a course or package before booking a service from it.

When a client has a valid course, it appears in the LHD (left hand drawer) when booking or editing an appointment. The circles represent the number of services in the course with the following colours:

Red - service has been redeemed.

Orange - service has been booked in the calendar but is yet to be redeemed.

Green - service is free to be booked.

In the image above, the course contains 8 services, one has been redeemed, one is booked in the diary (but has not yet been redeemed) and there are 6 yet to be booked.

Book a course service

  1. Click the desired slot in the calendar to open the LHD.

  2. Select the client.

  3. Click on a green course circle (if there are no course circles, the client does not have a valid course).

  4. Click "Save".

Change a booked single service to a course service

If an appointment is booked in the calendar as a single treatment but should redeemed as part of a course, it must be changed before check out. This can be done at any time before or after check in.

  1. Click on the appointment to open the LHD.

  2. Click on a green course circle.

  3. Click "Save".

Although the appointment will look exactly the same in the calendar, it is now booked as a course service and will be redeemed on checking out & paying.

Note

Course treatments cannot be booked online. Instead, a single treatment is booked as usual but then redeemed from an existing course on check out.

When checking in a single treatment for a client that has a course containing that treatment, a pop-up will appear asking "Redeem Service from Course?". This gives the opportunity to pause the check in and change the single treatment appointment to a course treatment.
