There are 3 places where you can upload photos:

  1. During the Patient Journey

  2. In a Practitioner Note

  3. In the Client Card > Medical > Photos page (only if uploading photos to an existing Practitioner note)

Uploading photos in the Patient Journey

When you arrive at the add photo page, the quickest and best way to upload photos here is to:

  1. Leave Google Chrome and open your device camera app.

  2. Take your photos and then return to Chrome

  3. Tap the blue + button > Upload photos and you can now select your photos in the order you wish them to be uploaded.

Using this method will mean that the photos will be saved on your device - remember to delete these photos later.

Alternatively, you can take photos within Collums by tapping the blue + button > Take photos. However, this will take longer as you will need to take and approve one photo at a time. Using this method will mean that photos are not saved to your device.

Uploading photos in a Practitioner Note

In a Practitioner Note, there are two places

  1. Next to the treatment name drop-down, click/tap the blue + button.

  2. Choose "UPLOAD PHOTO," then select "UPLOAD."

  3. Pick the photos to add (on PC, hold CTRL to select multiple).

  4. Optionally, rename photos and click/tap "Upload photos."

  5. Save & Exit.

You can use this method to add photos to a pre-saved practitioner note. In CLIENT CARD > MEDICAL > PRACTITIONER NOTES, click on the pencil to the right of the note to open it and go through the steps above.

Uploading photos via CLIENT CARD > MEDICAL > PHOTOS

This method can only be used to add photos to an existing set of photo(s) connected to an appointment.

  1. Scroll to the appointment that you wish to add your photo(s) to and click/tap the camera icon on the right-hand-side.

View your photos in MEDICAL > PHOTOS tab with date, time, and linked details.
