Deactivate or delete a staff member

Remove or delete a staff member log in

If a staff member leaves or is away for some time, you will want to remove them from your system. There are two ways to do this:

Deactivate a staff member

This will prevent a staff member from being able to access Collums and they will not appear in reports. New bookings will not be possible.

This method is best used when you know that the staff member will be returning soon

  1. Navigate to Admin/Organisation/Staff

  2. Click on the relevant staff member's name and then click on "Personal"

  3. Uncheck the "Archive" check box and click "Save"

    To reactivate, ensure that the "Show Inactive" check box has been checked.

    Follow the same steps above but check the "Active" check box.

Archive a staff member

It is not possible to permanently delete a staff member, instead, use the archive function.

  1. Navigate to Admin/Organisation/Staff

  2. Click on the "Options" button to the right of the staff member's row

  3. Select "Archive" and then "Confirm"

  4. Click "Save"

To un-archive, ensure that the "Show Archived" check box has been checked.

Follow the same steps above but click the "Un-Archive" option.
