An invoice is created when a patient is checked in for their appointment. This invoice will contain the item(s) contained in their appointment(s).
This invoice can be be found in the patient's Client Card > Financials at any time regardless of what a practitioner might be doing in their journey or medical notes.
Clicking on the appointment in the calendar and updating the service will be reflected in the invoice - changes to the appointment are immediately saved. You can also add new services to the calendar.
When "Check out & pay" is clicked in the appointment, the latest version of the invoice will appear in a new tab. It can be further edited before payment is taken - any value in blue text can be edited by clicking on it.
If you have not remembered to update the calendar, it is not too late. Uncheck out the appointment and update it as required. When you check out and pay again, the updated invoice will be presented.
How invoices redeem course treatments
For a service to be automatically redeemed from a course, the service in the calendar must have been booked from the course.
If it was booked as a regular single service, you can go back and update the service as described above, just remember to click the course circle instead of choosing from the service drop down.
If you add a single service to an invoice in the POS, it will not be redeemed from a course. But you can always redeem courses manually.
