Signup a client to a membership
If you have not done so already, create a membership.
You can signup a client to a membership in two ways:
Via the client card
In the client card, click the blue Action button at the top left of the screen.
Select Signup membership.
Via the POS
Go to the POS via the right hand menu.
Search for and select the client.
Click the blue "Signup membership" button at the bottom of the screen.
Request to create the Direct Debit payment schedule
Patient name and clinic location are pre-populated
Select the membership from the dropdown. If you do not see what you are looking for, go to Admin>Memberships and ensure that your membership is active.
Date of first payment is defaulted to today's date but can be changed by clicking on the calendar icon.
Click "Create Direct Debit"
Creating the Direct Debit payment schedule
As soon as you click create direct debit, an email is sent to the patient containing a link and instructions. The patient will need to enter their bank number and sort code and authorise the creation of the direct debit.
£1 will be taken from the patient's bank account to check that the account details are correct and there are funds available. This £1 payment is a test and will not constitute the First Payment.
On the date of the First Payment, the amount minus the £1 will be taken. Future payments will take the entire amount.
If you have selected a membership that has availability set to "After payment", the membership will not appear in the client card ready to be booked until the first payment has been received.
